State Contrast

There are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to contrast when implementing states.

• The indicator that visualizes a component to be in a certain state should have a contrast of at least 3:1. ¹
• But it is not required that different states have a certain minimum contrast between them. But the states of cause need to be clearly differentiable. ¹
